Personal story:
After 18 years of doing karate, from which 14 years in the Dutch National selection with a number of achievements, I thought it was enough. I always had the feeling that there is still more in me than you could see at the karate competitions. And always being dependent on the (political) decision making of the umpires was another reason. I have won several titles. The UFC seems a very fun new challenge especially in showing who you are (fashion show) and what you can achieve (outdoor disciplines). No referee who says that you are not riding bike well or that you have not climbed the mountain neatly. Just go, I think that's a great feeling. Since I made the choice for the UFC, I have also been training at the obstacle course at the APGS grounds (illegal, haha). This terrain is for the police academy in Amsterdam. Just wave and walk through, it always works, swimming, mountainbiking and running in Spaarnwoude (you can go all the way and even further). I try to train as complete as possible. This will be the first time for me to compete in the UFC so everything is new for me. I'll just see how it works out Greetings, Carla | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
