Conditions for the registration UFC 2001:
The Ultimate Fitness Challenge is a fitness competition and not a Body Building/Powerlift competition. Besides a high levelled sport performance, the participants are required to look feminine and well proportioned. Ladies who are too muscular according to the UFC standards will not be admitted to the selection.

You are also required to send a colour photo and a personal story of yourself. These will be placed at our website www.ufc.nl.

The Ultimate Fitness Challenge is a unique sport and fitness competition for females.

During the event the female contestants have to perform in a number of outdoor disciplines, such as a mountain bike race, swimming, steeplechase course, distance run, a number of fitness exercises and personal presentations on the catwalk. Besides the physical achievements they also require a well shaped athletic physique as well as feminine grace.

Competition sequence
The Ultimate Fitness Challenge competition consists of the audition e.g. pre-selection round, selection/training round, semi-final and final contest.

On television
Footage of this yearly held sport and fitness event is edited and created for television broadcasting purposes. The UFC is a series of seven episodes of one hour each and is broadcasted primetime in the BENELUX countries. The UFC television series attracts 4 million viewers in total (source: RTL 2005).

In brief
In 1999 the UFC was launched exclusively for females. As a result of the sound reputation and still increasing popularity of the women's contest, the UFC organization is preparing a seperate edition for men, couples, kids and even country teams. The pilot version for men has already been organized successfully. Moreover, the UFC organization’s short term goal is to market the registered format worldwide.
